Meet Princeton

Meet Princeton, a candidate for the most-laid-back cat ever award!

He was found as a stray tomcat with severe ear mites and ear infection. Princeton is wonderful with dogs and cats and gets along great with every new cat and won't even get up and move out of the way for dogs. He snuggles with a dog that comes to the clinic and he enjoys eating snack and canned food. He has short moments of play followed by long afternoon naps. Princeton is between 4-5 years old and weighs 13-14lbs.

Princeton's only issue is that he can be a little nippy if you are busy and he wants your attention or if you do something he doesn't like (for example, he doesn't like being brushed). He probably wouldn't be good with really young children and he wouldn't be good at Petsmart.

If you are interested in adopting Princeton or any of our available pets, please call Robin, our adoption coordination at 352-339-3352 or e-mail spcagainesville@hotmail.com.

We have many cats and kittens available for adoption throughout the year. Our kittens are in foster homes during the week where they receive the love and attention they need to grow and thrive.

You can e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption application or visit some of our cats and kittens each weekend on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-3pm at PetsMart in Butler Plaza on Archer Road in Gainesville. Our adoption coordinator will be there to answer any questions you may have.

All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive any other necessary treatment while in our program such as treatment for ear mites, respiratory infections, etc. Our adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs.
