Pippa is a beautiful petite Border Collie that has overcome a lot in her short life. She is extremely bright, learns everything quickly and is very intuitive. She most certainly views herself as a princess - and works hard at it. She is a gorgeous little girl (with almost perfect eye patches and unique lopsided ears) and has very delicate features but can toss her tiara to the side and jump right into anything! She especially loves her rough and tumble sessions with her favorite buddy Zak and chasing ghosts in the yard. She is a bit materialistic and will gather all the toys and will perch on them on her bed (Princess and the Pea!). One is never enough for her but she is learning how to share and that the tug game and keep away are great fun!

Pippa is about seven months old and we expect her to reach about 35 lbs as she matures - a traditional size for her breed. This girl loves people and she loves her foster doggy family at home and we are working on her confidence with meeting dogs on her walks - she is coming along nicely. She would prefer a family that is either home most of the time or works at home that can give her all the attention she is entitled to and fluff her doggie beds between naps and playtime. Cats are on her list of favorite things but only to chase them! While she does great with older kids, we prefer no kids under 8 please.

Pippa has typical energy for a BC, not over the top but still higher energy and her family will need to be active and include their dogs in their family activities. She does great on a leash and is always ready to go and would love hiking and long walks as she would like to keep her slender figure! She loves car rides and thinks they are her just due so she can keep track of her kingdom.

Pippa is part of a little family (her mom and brother) that was saved from a high-kill shelter and we know her first few months were not good. Her struggles have been many but she is now a healthy girl and is gaining more confidence everyday and she is only looking forward. She has flourished and she is ready to find her forever family.

Pippa is spayed, UTD on shots, on heartworm preventative, chipped, house trained, crate trained (but not necessary), doggie door trained, thinks car rides are her due and ready to expand her kingdom! She is looking for lots of love, lots of toys, fluffy beds, and a family that has working dog experience. Are you ready for a princess?
