Meet Gus & Dixie - Adoption Pending

Gus & Dixie are two beautiful purebred German Shorthaired Pointers. They have been raised in a home with other dogs, but their owner is moving across the country and sadly cannot take them along. Gus is a gorgeous liver ticked, and Dixie is a black ticked. The dogs will both be 5 soon: Gus Dec 27 and Dixie Feb 5.

They know all the basic obedience commands: sit, stay, heel, here, leave it. Both have been professionally hunt trained and have had lots of birds shot over them. They're woah broke, quarter well, and are excellent retrievers, crate and box trained and travel well.

They're very well socialized and love other dogs. Neither would do well with cats but love children. Since the dogs have been together since they were pups, it is preferred they go to a new home together.
