Eloise Tiger Medfield, MA

Eloise is a special cat not only because of her beautiful personality but because of the transformation she has made from being a disfigured cat to what we consider to be a beauty queen. Found by Dover Animal Control last August with what appeared to be wounds or burns on her face, our vets concluded she had an untreated allergy that had ravaged her with sores. As soon as we started to treat her the sores started to heal. She has been in a great foster home since January, but their resident cat doesn’t like her and her foster family thinks she would be happier as an only cat or with a more accepting cat.

In January she went into foster care with one of our volunteers, in hopes this would be her forever home as they all loved her gentle and affectionate nature. At approximately 8-years-old Eloise was all for this plan as she loves her foster parents. After 5 months of hoping it would work out, they now feel their resident cat is never going to accept sharing her house with Eloise and Eloise needs to find a new home without a grumpy cat to contend with. We can't blame the first cat but it does mean Eloise has to hope there is another family out there that will love her and give her a forever home.

The shelter will not charge an adoption fee for her and we will supply her new family with her food and medication for the first year after adoption. She takes her liquid cyclosporine very nicely and she enjoys her Nature's Balance limited ingredients dry food.

The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers and all visits to the Shelter must be scheduled in advance to insure one of our volunteers is at the shelter to meet you. Eloise's adoption fee is $75. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, combo testing and spaying/neutering when old enough.
