Anna Japanese Chin Renton, WA

This beautiful lady is Anna. She's had a hard road to becoming the girl she is today. Anna was one of many dogs caught in a horrendous hoarding situation, she lived in a dark basement full of crated, barking dogs and a loud radio always on to hide the barking sounds from neighbors. Anna did not experience much human interaction, and would sometimes not be fed regularly.

Despite this, Anna is sweet and loving. She enjoys being outside, playing with other dogs and snuggling in bed with you! Once she gets to know you she wants to be petted and loved on all the time- like she is making up for lost time! And who can deny her?

Anna is about 5 or 6 years of age, and she thrives on routine. She is potty trained using a dog door and gets on very well with other dogs. She LOVES to play, and will do best in a home with a playful dog pal.

Anna's ideal home will have a nice fenced yard to romp in with her dog buddy (or buddies!), be fairly quiet (no young children, she does not do well with unpredictability) and have a person who loves to snuggle and pet her.

Anna is on Prozac to help her feel more balanced and comfortable. She may be able to come off it soon, or you and your vet may decide to keep her on it. It has helped her immensely. Anna is healthy, spayed, chipped, up to date on medical care and vaccines.

Anna's adoption fee is $250. We would like to consider homes within driving range of the greater Seattle-Tacoma-Portland area for her first.
