Robyn's Nest Animal Rescue & SanctuaryNashville, TN  email: rbynesnest@yahoo.commissing one eyeedna is an american bulldog mix girl, who came from a horrible hoarding situation. she was skeletal, had bloody wounds all over her body and was just pretty much done trying. in addition to the horrible condition she was in when she arrived, she had an old injury to her head that had left her blind in one eye......who wouldn't give up after all of that........edna, that is who........ as she started feeling better(and was being fed) little by little she came back. much to our joy, she is now super sweet, loves people and is ready to give life and love another chance. we estimate her to be about 3 or 4 years old. she is crate trained and doing really well on her in the house manners. she is not great with other dogs, as she lived with other dogs that were also starving and they learned to fight for food, they had to. in any case, she has improved as far as her behavior goes with other dogs, but she will be happiest as an only dog child. speaking of kids, she loves them. she is fully vetted, spayed and has all her shots. the vet says there is nothing to do at this point about her eye injury, but she may need to actually have the eye removed at some point.You must complete an application before being able to visit a dog. If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship.  Upon interest in one of our dogs, please send an email inquiry to rbynsnest@yahoo.com and tell a little bit about your family, an adoption application will be sent to you.  A complete application is reguired before a meet-n-greet or home visit by us with the dog to ascertain the fit between dog and family.  Meet-n-Greets are by appointment only.  Please note that we require you to be age 21 or older to adopt a dog. Vet references and a home visit required.  I am an indoor dog with outdoor privileges.  All of our dogs are house & crate trained.  Homes with fenced in yards are preferred.  All our pets are spayed/neutered, and  up to date on their shots prior to adoption.  Adoption fee of $185 goes towards the cost of care for this pet and future animals we rescue.
