Meet Annie

Age: 7 years old Sex: Female Size: 12 pounds Contact Email: stacyellen35@yahoo.com
Health: Annie is in great health, although she does have a low grade luxating patella on her right hind leg.  This doesn’t slow her down at all, and rarely do you see any evidence she has this.
My Story:  Annie was an owner turn-in after a couple adopted her only to discover their youngest child was severely allergic to dogs.  Annie is known to have had one litter of puppies in her past, but is currently spayed.
More about Annie: Annie is being fostered in Fort Worth, TX.  Her foster family says Annie is a bubbly bundle of love and energy.  In fact, if they didn’t know Annie’s exact age, her foster family would have thought she is much younger than her 7 years.   Annie is very friendly and well socialized.  She gets along well with other dogs, and probably needs a home with at least one other dog close to her size.  Because she has always been around other dogs, she is not recommended for a single dog home.  Annie walks well on a leash, and will chin-spin her way to the door to go for walks or outside to play.  She is completely housebroken, but will use a potty pad in an emergency.  Annie loves attention, play time, and belly rubs.  She gets along well with children and ignores the two cats in her current foster home.  She sleeps in the bed with a human (child or adult) at night, but is just as happy to sleep on the floor in a soft, snuggly, doggy bed.  Annie is a very outgoing little girl who has never met a stranger.
Annie is fully vetted, including all shots, microchip, and a recent dental cleaning. She is also spayed. If you are interested in adopting Annie, please go to the website, www.japanesechinrescue.org, and fill out an application.
My Ideal Home: Annie would love to have another dog close in size to play with. She currently lives in a home with three other Japanese Chin, and two cats, and does great with all of them.  Ideally, Annie would have someone to chase, play, and “rough house” with to use up her bubbly energy.
Adoption Process: To adopt a Chin from JCCARE, start by filling out the application found on our website at www.japanesechinrescue.org. The application is under the Forms menu.
If you aren’t ready to adopt yet but would like to help Annie, please click on the purple SPONSOR ME button above her name. Your donation will help us to pay for the care of this dog until she finds a furever home.
JCCARE also maintains the lives of many senior and special needs Chin in our “Sanctuary” program. These dogs are not listed on Petfinder, as their health issues make them unlikely to ever be adopted. If you are a lover of the breed, could you please consider sponsoring
