Abby Rabbit Lionhead & Holland Lop Mix Manhattan, KS

Meet Abby, she was born 8/15/13. Her adoption fee is $60

Abby is very playful and full of energy. She loves to binky around and explore her surroundings when out of her cage. Abby does really good with using her liter box and would do best in a home with older adults and no children. She is also fully harness/leash trained. She will explore everything outside and be mindful of her leash.

Abby is a typical dwarf bunny and she is not cuddly by any means. She enjoys minimal handling, but lots of petting. She loves affection on her own terms, very much like an aloof cat. She is very strong willed bunny and she needs an owner who will be firm with her and understand her needs. It would be ideal for Abby to go to a home that has previous dwarf rabbit experience and is understanding of her wishes. She is a wonderful, good girl that just needs to find her "fur"ever home!

In short she is very sweet and can be very loving but she really needs a home with someone whom will be firm with her and preferably has previous rabbit experience as she would not make a great "starter" bunny.

Abby has been introduced to a dog successfully and could probably do well with a cat or dog in the home as long as they were not overwhelming.

RCHS rabbits live in loving foster homes where they are litterbox trained, spayed/neutered, socialized, given sufficient exercise outside of their cage, and fed a diet of grass hay, Timothy pellets, and fresh vegetables to maintain a healthy weight.
