Chauncey (Chance) Maltese & Poodle Mix Tucson, AZ

NOTE: NO SMALL CHILDREN!! It's too easy for young children to accidentally hurt a dog this small. By small I mean UNDER THE AGE OF 8.


Also, we THINK he is a Maltipoo, but we are not sure.  He could be a Morkie.  Or he could have ten different dog breeds in him.  We rescue dogs ABANDONED ON THE STREETS.   So far I haven't seen shedding, but I'm not going to send him out to "see" if someone has a reaction to his fur.


Chance is 7 months old and such a HAPPY LITTLE GUY!  He loves running and playing, like all puppies, but he also likes sitting on laps now and then!  He REALLY LOVES other dogs!!


We do NOT adopt puppies out to homes with pools unless there's a fence around the pool. 


Chance is our foster dog, and because he loves other dogs so much, he needs to go to a home with another young dog (5 or under) to play with.  He simply ADORES our Schnoodle and spends all day following him around.  If you have questions, you can email me at: stubparade5@gmail.com  This is one special dog!!  HE IS ADORABLE, FUNNY, and oh so happy!!  He weighs as of 9/14, 7.4 pounds and is still a bit UNDERWEIGHT.  I think he'll look great at about 9 pounds. 


Chauncey, (in our records) aka Chance aka SCOOTER, as we call him, has been through a LOT in his short life!  He survived PARVO (from crappy owners not giving their dogs vaccines) and now he is ready to be spoiled the rest of his life!!


He's is doing VERY GOOD with his house training skills, (I let him out every 3 hours) but KEEP IN MIND HE IS STILL A BABY and ALL dogs need TIME and PATIENCE when they go to a new home.  That's why we never say our dogs are guaranteed house trained.  To date, he has never had an accident in our house, but as I said, I let him out on a regular basis.  He won't do good in a home where he is left alone for 8 hours.

NOTE!  A pre application is RECOMMENDED because we choose owners from THAT source first. A HOME VISIT IS REQUIRED!!!  I also want potential adopters to know that I GOOGLE HOMES for the safety of our animals.  We also require a home visit.


KEEP IN MIND that dogs that DON'T SHED have to be GROOMED.  If that isn't something you want to mess with, then a non shedding dog is not a good option.  Grooming costs about $50 every 6 - 8 weeks. If this is not in your budget, please don't apply for a non shedding dog.  Dogs that need to be groomed can end up with horrid skin infections if their fur is not properly cared for.


Filling out an application does not mean you are required to adopt a dog, nor does it guarantee adoption acceptance, but it is the first step in our adoption process.


At the end of the application, please include the TYPE OF FENCING you have around your yard. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!

We show our animals at Petsmart at Swan & Grant in Tucson most Saturdays from 11:30am to 3:30pm.  We are located in the BACK of the store.  We will not be at Petsmart Saturday, October 5, but we WILL be at Petsmart Sunday, the 6th.
