Meet Wags

Introducing...Wags! Wags is a 2 year old Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen mix and came to us from Richland County. He is so adorable! He is a very sweet, quiet gentleman with very solemn eyes as well as having an easygoing and loving manner about him. We are sure he would be a great family dog!

Here is some info about the breed(keep in mind that Wags is probably a Mix):

The PBGV is a pack dog, one of 28 French hound breeds, with a natural rough wiry coat and outgoing, active and independent personality. The breed traces its origins back about 400 years, and is the shortest of the four Griffons Vendéens breeds, hence the "petit" (meaning "small") in his name. This happy, extroverted dog has a good voice, which he uses freely. The breed was recognized by AKC in 1991. He is a busy dog who requires adequate exercise on a daily basis to be on his best behavior. Though cute, he doesn't live a sedentary lifestyle.

Wags adoption fee is $175 and covers the cost of his neuter, vaccines, microchip and 30 day free trial pet insurance.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and your adoption fee is a tax deductible contribution.
