Meet Bonnie

Meet "The Murper"...just one of Bonnie's nicknames in her foster home :)

Bonnie makes a very unique sound when she wants attention~it's really cute. When she is ready for some human loving, she will seek you out for some attention, which includes her little version of 'Hello" in Bonnie language, it really sounds like "mmmurp". As soon as you start petting her, she starts to purr...it's that easy!

Bonnie also comes with her own unique purrrsonality. She will seek out attention, but if she hears a strange noise she will take off until she realizes it was nothing, then she comes right back. She loves to lay on her foster mom's legs anytime she gets the chance. She's also known to try to sneak under the bed covers to get to the soft blanket. Another part of Bonnie's character...she's a "soft blanket sucker". She has done this ever since she was a kitten. No worries, no holes, just a little wet spot when she's done :). These magic blankets makes her instantly relax, she starts to purr, and she is in cat-heaven!

Bonnie is a beautiful Tortoiseshell, "Tortie" girl! She has some great markings, especially on her tummy which she is more than happy to show you when you start to give her a tummy rub! Bonnie loves to explore her foster home and loves to find boxes or baskets to cuddle up in. Once she is comfortable with them, Bonnie appreciates pets from gentle respectful kids, and even sleeps with her 10 year old foster human. But, she prefers to only be picked up by adults.

Bonnie will need time to transition into your home, as she still has a tendency to get scared with any new situations or loud noises. If you can be patient, and be humored by her quirks, she is so worth it!

Although she has been in a foster home with cats and dogs, we think Bonnie would be fine in a quieter home as a single cat. Or, with a friendly male cat (for some reason she isn't buddies with the resident friendly female cat).

Bonnie's estimated date of birth is 5/1/13. Her adoption fee of $50 includes: vet exam, FeLV/FIV test (neg), distemper combo (FVRCP) vaccine, routine deworming, flea control, microchip and spay. And, as a bonus Bonnie comes with her own very special blanket...you don't hear that too often!
