Cricket is a chubby, but active 10 year old, solid black girl who loves attention. She is very talkative, loves sitting in laps and is super sweet. Lately we've seen Cricket playing with toys proving that she is still very much young at heart. Cricket is a purrfect choice as an only pet, since she doesn't really like cats or dogs, but she can coexist in a home with a couple of pets. Cricket loves when we have visitors and often times she's one of the first cats to greet them as they come through the door. As soon as they sit down, if she's the first one there, she happily sits in their laps and mews in approval.

Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
