Poppy and Clover came to Red Dog Farm when their owner could no longer care for them. They are sweet girls who are still getting use to their new home. Here is what their foster mom had to say about their first few days with her:

 


"Poppy and Clover are simply delightful with the best of manners. Poppy, the older of the two, is very curious and enjoyed her first day exploring todday. Clover stayed closer to her cage but ventured out a few feet. Absolutely no biting. A little conversational chatting going on, but no fear alerts. I suspect that once they grow accustomed to my voice and the routine, they will be climbing over me in no time. Both will step onto my hand but they are not quite convinced of my intentions at this point. I can tell you that my boys do not appreciate their confinement with two strangers in the room. Newton gave Poppy a lesson in chinchilla etiquette through the cage this morning."

These are two bonded girls who would do best adopted together.


 

Update!   These two girls are absolutely great! Perfect tempered, just the right amount of curiosity, and I have yet to see them chew on something outside the rules. They love to play on their playground and socialize with staff members.  Poppy was the talk of her foster mom's officec recently and greeted everyone that stopped by.  If ever there were chins that adored people, these two girls fit the bill. They enjoy being around people. Clover is still a little shy, but she will come around.
