Meet Miles

Miles is a beautiful and lovable medium-haired Lynx point Siamese with very big feet!  Our best guess is he is 2-3 years old.  He loves to be petted and loves to “kill” his toys. He is gentle and very grateful to be inside and safe.

Miles was found in a cat colony in Nogales with an eye condition called entropian, which means his eye lashes were rubbing against his corneas. He had to gain weight before we could perform the two surgeries which now allow him to see without pain. His eyes are still sensitive to light and drafts.

Miles is also positive for FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.  FIV-positive cats can live with other cats with a few precautions. The disease is not easily spread to other cats. They do require diligent monitoring for signs of infection and they have a tendency to have dental disease.
As of 8/1/13 Special Adoption Fee: $25

Paws Patrol kittens under 6 months old are $65 for one and $100 for 2; cats over 6 months old are $35 each; FELV/FIV cats are $25 each.
SPECIAL for Active military may adopt for 1/2 the current adoption rate. And in case of transfer or deployment, Paws Patrol will always take the cat back and place it in a foster home until you return.
Please refer to your adoption packet to see all the veterinary tests and procedures that have already been done. Now your new kitty can also have a wellness check at Valley Verde Clinic. But you must make the appointment within seven to ten days of the adoption date and tell them this is a kitty from Paws Patrol.
Seniors age 65 or older and disabled persons of any age may qualify to adopt one cat over 6 months of age free of charge. All members of the household must be at least age 50. For full details, please contact Paws Patrol.
Paws Patrol believes in home visits to insure the best match and safety for our cats. We may request a visit prior to adopting, and again after the adoption to insure the cat is fitting in, is secure and has adequate care. If you object to a home visit, please say so before starting the adoption process.
Paws Patrol does not allow declawing. They will show you how to trim claws. If you insist on having a declawed cat, please look for a cat that has previously been declawed
Since we are a small community-based group with limited resources and membership, our TNR service area is Sahuarita to Nogales only.  We are unable to service the feral or stray cats of Tucson.  We do adopt to anywhere in Southern Arizona.
Paws Patrol cats and kittens live in foster homes which provides them with the love and special attention they deserve.
Paws Patrol cats are to be INDOOR ONLY cats.
