Meet Jaria

ADOPTED FEB-1-2016: Yay! I am staying with my foster pawrents furever!

PUPDATE OCT-28-2015: I am just wondering why no one wants me? I am a really nice little girl. I have come a long ways. Yes, I need a family without any small children, a fenced yard and I would like someone to play with me. I like to play with toys on my terms. I will definitely be near to you and watch your every move. I will be a great protector of the perimeter. So, please if you are looking for someone like me fill out an application today. I really would like to have my forever home before the calendar turns to a new year.

PUPDATE JULY-28-2015: Hello it is me Jaria Jo again. I am still sitting here by the computer waiting for someone to send an application for me. As I have said a few times, I am a little scared of noises ( especially thunder) but I am getting better. I like to play with toys and I love treats. I sometimes like to spend time by myself, but I will always have an eye on what you are doing. All I need is a nice home with a fenced in yard so I can play and do my business, a quiet house (no small children) and I would be ok with a friend also but I could get used to being an only child if that is your preference. So I am asking you again to give me a chance to be the newest member of your family. Please fill out an application today! I'll be waiting.

PUPDATE APR-29-2015: Hello again. It is me Jaria Jo still looking for that perfect furever family. I know some of you have inquired about me, but when it comes time to submit an application they must get lost in space because I never see them. I am continuing to learn that loud noises are not as bad as they seem. But it will be awhile before I truly get over it. I would really like to find a new home before summer is over, so please if you can provide me with a quiet home (no little kids), a brother or sister to play with, a fenced in yard so I can play and do my business, and toys and treats, please fill out an application today. Thank you for your consideration.

PUPDATE FEB-14-2015: Hello to all of you out there in Internet land. My name is Jaria. I have been here at Company B for quite a while. When I got here I was scared to death. In the time that I have been here, I have learned to take treats, play with toys, play with others when the mood hits me, do my business on a piddle pad and go outside when I need to.
I like to be silly sometimes and just hop around and bark. Other times, I just like to lay by myself and enjoy the peace and quiet. Depending on my mood I will be in the same room with you and make sure you are safe and other times, you are on your own and I will rest by myself.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am still a work in progress. So if you have some patience and a fenced in yard for me to run and play in, that would be great. I still scare easily, so I really would prefer a house that is kind of quiet (no small children). So if you are interested, then please fill out an application and I will get back to you. I know there is a perfect family out there for me. So fill out the application now.

PUPDATE OCT-6-2014: Hello it is me Jaria Jo. Right now, I weigh around 16 pounds. I am still waiting for my perfect family. I am still a little shy and so I need a quiet house to live in. I do like to play with toys so that would be a plus. I know how to use a doggie door and can do my business outside. I am not really sure about walking on a leash. I like to be able to move around at my pace where I want to go, so I really would prefer a yard that is fenced in. Once again, I would sure like to have my new furever family and house before the pumpkins get carved. So if you can provide me with a quiet house, toys and a fenced in yard. Please submit an application today. Thank you.

PUPDATE FEB-17-2014: Hey people!
I am still here. It's me, Jaria Jo. I'm really kind of concerned that no one seems to want to send in an application for me. I am a very nice girl. Yesterday, I got a bath and a haircut and I was a perfect little girl while my foster mom cut my hairs. I am really starting to love to play with toys and I love to rest in a bubblebutt bed. I will admit that I am still on the shy side, but when the right family comes along, I will know it and I will be the happiest little girl in the world. So, if you are that perfect family, send in an application and hopefully we can celebrate St. Paddie's day together. Trust me, I will be the best little girl you have ever met....Jaria Jo

PUPDATE DEC-23-2013: Well as I said before I have come along way and I continue to learn how to be the bestest furkid in the world. I'm sure most of you peoples are still concerned about where I came from and how I acted then. Trust me, I am nowhere near that frightened child anymore. I like to play with toys, I like to be around people and other furkids. Sometime I go lay by myself, but who doesn't need a break every once in a while.
As I said before I would really like a home with a fenced yard because I love to run as fast as I can well you know until I get tired. I also would like to have a fur brother or sister to play with. I would really prefer a family with no little kids because I can still get scared by loud noises and fast movement. I have come a long way and would really like to have my own family soon.

PUPDATE AUG-8-2013: Hi my name is Jaria. I have been in the foster program for awhile, I was just not ready to show my face. Let me explain. This is my story as best as I know. I am a Shih-Tzu/Poodle cross. I have a verysoft black coat, the only white I have is under my chin. They think I was born in 2007. I am about 12lbs. The person that brought me to my foster home had this story. I was part of a bunchof 30 furkids that she tried to surrender to 2 shelters, but none of them wanted me, because I was a fear bitter. The shelter people said the best thing for me was to be sent to the bridge.
Before I was sent to the place with ALOT of furkids, I was someone's pet and they did not want me anymore. The lady who dropped me off could not remember how long she had me or if I had any babies. So on a cold winters day, I showed up at my foster home, in a van full of empty crates, with just me in the back. The person told my foster mom here is the one noone would take, and good luck. My foster mom ( aka softie) felt sorry for me, and said she would do what she could do for me.
Let's face it I HATED people, and just showed my teeth. Well the first thing that happened is I did not go back into a crate. I was told I had to start interacting with the human race. What the ham sandwich! I just showed my teeth, I bit em when I was given a bath and hair cut, or whenever I could. I was a terror on 4 legs. But my foster mom did not give up on me. Since I have been here, I learned to play with toys, use piddle pads and the doggie door, play with the other furkids here in a fenced in back yard, take treats like a little miss, greet peeps at the door with a wagging tail, and a kiss for your fingers. I now like baths and hairs cuts like an angel, and can be touched all over my body. I like to be in the same room with people and follow you around the house.I sleep at night in my bed in the bedroom with my foster family.
Yes I have come along way, I need a home with someone/family who has patience and willing to give me time to trust them. No small humans tho, cause load noises and fast activities still scare me, then I run fast. A fenced in yard is best, and a fur friend to play with would be heaven. If you are interested in me joining your family please fill out an application.

Jaria's donation is $300.

Visit me, Jordan, Boss of EveryPuppy of the Universe, at FLUFFYBUTTS RESCUE RESORT.

Fill out the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you're interested in being adopted by this cute kid. It's the first step in the pawcess.

ADOPTIONS: We don't let the fact that you might live out of state stop any adoption that's meant to be, but you MUST be willing to drive, or fly, all the way to pick up your new family member. We do not ship these kids on airplanes by themselves - we think they'd have a hard time getting through security without their rabies tag setting off the metal detectors. If the kid needs a health certificate because they're flying home, that will be an expense for the new family. ADOPTION DONATIONS: When you see the adoption donation amounts, we'd like you to know that 90% of the time the donation amount doesn't even come close to covering that kid's dogtor bills. This is definitely not a money-making venture. We're usually so far in the hole but the impawtant thing is to get these kids the medical care they need and help them find the pawfect family. That's our top pawority. (I just can't resist using "paw" whenever I can!)

POTTY TRAINING: Please note that we NEVER say our kids are 100% potty-trained. How stupid would we be to say something like that? If you're willing to be trained by your new family member, please fill out an application. If you're looking for a totally potty-trained kid, you may as well stop at the toy store on your way home from work and buy a stuffed toy because those are the only reliable ones to NOT potty in your home. There is a period of adjustment, not just for the new family member but for everyone in the house. You must be patient, understanding, and willing to work with your new family member. It can take anywhere from several days to several months. You must be 100% committed to this, it's a lifetime commitment.

HUG AND KISS YOUR KIDLETS LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW.

Please be patient with us - we're taking care of a lot of kids - our own and the foster kids - and we have families, homes and full time jobs. We're giving meds to the sick kids, playing with the healthy kids, and loving on all the kids. We're doing their laundry, trying to teach them manners and where to do their business, and cleaning up their accidents. In other words, we're just a little busy but we'll return email inquiries just as fast as we pawssibly can. Thanks!
