Luna American Staffordshire Terrier Phoenix, AZ

Meet Luna! She has been in our care for many months now and has overcome a few medical issues but today she is all tuned up and ready to find a loving home. Luna came to us after living on a chain on a concrete slab for 10 months. Those days are in the past! She has been thriving in her foster home with two other playmates. We would have introduced her sooner but when she went to get sterilized, her ovary was about 30% larger then normal. She had a large tumor on the outside of her ovary that was successfully removed. The tumor was later diagnosed as a mature teratoma and thankfully, benign! Yippeeee! Luna is absolutely adorable. As her foster mom tells us over and over, "she is such a good girl." Her blue eyes will melt you and her loving, cuddly, sweet disposition will make it hard to get off the couch. She will do best in an active home with a playmate that is of her own size. She does not do well with cats or smaller dogs. When Luna is properly introduced with playmates of her own size, she does well. She loves to romp with her kind.
