Meet Bandit

Bandit is a happy, two and a half year old male husky. He is kennel trained and loves the outdoors. He would be a great ski jourer or hiking companion. He is very affectionate and loves to please. He knows basic commands. He can be shy particularly with men. If forced to do something he doesn't want to do, he becomes fearful and has been known to bite. Therefore, Bandit needs a compassionate home where he can be gently led and coached and not forced.

Bandit is currently in a foster home; to set up a meeting, contact the Alaska SPCA at 562-2999.

Alaska S.P.C.A. dogs are spayed/ neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and come with a 1-year municipal license. We implement a 24-hour waiting period and a 10-day trial adoption, and provide a lifelong commitment to our animals. The Alaska S.P.C.A. encourages obedience classes for all dog adoptions. The adoption fee for dogs - $150 - covers all the costs involved in caring for the animals we house.
