Arrival story:  Jersey rode a transport to freedom from a rural shelter on the west side of the state.
 
Approximate age / weight:  1 yr old / 35 lbs.
Personality: Don’t worry – this Jersey girl is drama free!  She is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet.  She loves people and other dogs and even attends doggy daycare and is best pals with one of our other foster dogs, Gibson.  She helps him come out of his shell.  Jersey gives kisses and will steal a spot on your lap for some good ol’ snuggle time.
 
Jersey is a smart girl and learns things easily.  We bet that she would enjoy and be a star in obedience class.  She can be a bit exuberant and jumpy at times so we think that a home with older children is best.
Forever home:  Our Jersey girl would fit into many living situations but we think she would enjoy having a doggie playmate.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $225 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $125 for senior dogs, $275 for small breed dogs and $250 for puppies, plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
