Taco American Staffordshire Terrier New York, NY

Our gorgeous 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier could easily become the Ambassador to the Breed. He aced his behavioral test at the ACC, and since then, he's been getting lots of training and socialization in foster care. With his massive head and a smile from ear to ear, our friendly 70 lbs Taco is the hit of the Upper West Side. Housebroken and crate trained, Taco has a very calm demeanor in the apt, and spends most of his time sprawled out on the floor. He has a strong jaw and is an active chewer. He loves to eat ice cubes.  He can catch food, treats and toys, but also gently takes food from your hand.  Outside, Taco is very curious and energetic and loves exploring the neighborhood. He can often be seen on walks with his canine buddies or spending time going in and out of local stores. He loves to ride in the car. He is equally happy in the country or the city....rolling in the grass or window shopping on Broadway, he enjoys it all.  His training includes walking calmly on the leash without pulling, and meeting and greeting everyone respectfully.  Taco is very friendly towards children and he would make a great family dog.  He is loving and affectionate and has only good intentions.  His foster mom has brought him to several different parties and BBQs, and Taco is always well behaved and very popular. Even with lots of activity going on, he will calmly lie down and go to sleep. He is very quiet and rarely barks. Taco would do best in an active home where he will continue to get exercise, socialization, training and belly rubs.   He is  neutered, microchipped, hw neg and up to date on all his shots.
