Meet Shasta SPECIAL NEEDS
UPDATE: she now seems to be able to hold it for long periods of time. So I believe she is really no longer "special needs". She can actually go 12 hours between having to go out to go potty (not that I would recommend doing that).
Shasta is a wonderful girl. Super sweet and loving. BUT she has minor kidney fatigue. Which means instead of having to go potty two or three times a day she needs to go three to four times a day. She will hold it until you can let her out and will start whining noticeably when she has to go out and go potty so its never a problem letting her out in time BUT I think she would do best in a home where she either has access to outside all the time (doggy door) or in a home where someone is home alot and can let her out that extra time every day.

This dog was rescued from Pulaski County Animal Shelter in Somerset Kentucky. They are a rescue friendly shelter that does it's best to place as many adoptable dogs into no-kill rescues and homes as possible. This sweetie escaped death row and now his empty kennel remains to give one more dog another week. Adoption fee is $150 and that includes all vetting, including spay/neuter.
