Dude is 2 years old and a happy happy dog. He is neutered, housebroken and HW-. This guy is very easy going and gets along great with everyone. He loves other dogs. He was surrendered with his sister "Millie". Their owner lost her job and could not longer afford to keep them. We need to find a great family for this guy. He is a great family pet, well -adjusted. Dude will bow his head to get head rubs, which he loves. He also loves to ride in the car. If you want and nice dog who will give you lots of love then Dude is your guy.

If you would like to adopt Dude, please contact Chelsea at ddrchelsea@gmail.com

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
