ZIGGY-  arrived from a southern high kill shelter where he was surrendered by his owner who simply could no longer afford to keep him.  He is a labradoodle with a charming personality.  He is under a 1 year old, 45 lbs now, but too thin, should be about 60  lbs. and although sweet, at this age you must commit to basic training.  He is a quick learner, easy to handle and eager to please.  He walks as a perfect heel and is a pleasure to go walking with or running.  he is learning PLACE command for household management.  When Ziggy looks up at you your heart will melt.  He is sleeping at night in his crate.   As a first generation doodle, he will slightly shed.  If you love labrador retreivers, but want the poodle mix too because you are tired of all the shedding, then this dog is for you.  He is so much still a puppy so we would not be likely to place with small children under 8.  We will carefully match his needs to the right application.  I know this process can be daunting, but this is forever and I am certain we want this to be right and forever.  Thank you for rescuing a dog.  Remember never SHOP, ADOPT.

Breed stated is just a shelter/rescue/foster guess based on size, appearance and temperament. It is impossible for us to know for sure as most of our dogs are strays from high kill shelters.
