Laci Pointer Mix Hamden, CT

Laci is 100% a doglover’s dog (and she's beautiful too). Currently about a year and a half old, she is smart, curious, affectionate, and eager to please. She will gladly show-off her playful and clever disposition through energetic games of fetch, as well as the tricks she's mastered and her ability to be focused and patient (such as not taking her favorite treat, even though it's right in front of her nose, until she's gotten the OK to do so). Several weeks ago she spent a successful 7 days in-residence with well-known holistic trainer Kevin Behan. Because she’s never had an ongoing stable household environment, she is still learning about life, and, like most dogs, needs a home with a person or family that will patiently accompany her on a journey of discovery and guide her to respond positively to the things around her (which she's very good at). She interacts well with other dogs who have an energy level similar to hers, but would also thrive as the only dog at home where she is the center of attention (sadly, she doesn’t get along well with cats). Laci is perfect for a single person or a couple, but also will do well with a well-matched small family.
