GiGi Pit Bull Terrier Mix Reddick, FL

Gigi is a beautiful, petite young pit bull mix girl. She has had a very rough life thus far. When she first came to SCR, she was by far the worst case of neglect and emaciation we have ever seen, and we have seen a lot. She weighed a mere 25 pounds, and her entire body was made up of creaking bones. She was suffering from a raging case of ringworm, losing large patches of hair all over her body, could hardly stand without tipping over (because of her weakened body and deteriorated muscles),  would just plop into her fosters lap to sleep from exhaustion, and just continued to wag her tail as best she could through it all.

Now Gigi is a happy, healthy dog who loves to run and play with her doggie and people friends. She has had some amazing fosters that have pulled her through her darkest times, and is blossoming into a fantastic girl! Her hair is grown back, her skin has healed nicely, and she's gained around 13 pounds in the last month. She's really thriving! 

She needs a gentle yet firm leader, one who will continue the daily training and walks she is thriving with now. She is a very playful and exuberant girl, loves life, and for this reason, a home with older children experienced with dogs is best. Gigi is a VERY special girl to all of us at SCR and deserves to have an equally special forever home.
