JAY English Pointer & Labrador Retriever Mix Spring, TX

 


JAY is an adoptable dog that is currently located in Houston, Texas and is eligible for transport to the Northwest.


Jay has the most incredible markings including black ears, a black swoosh on his face and a beautiful white coat on his chest and legs. What a distinctive boy! He’s the calmest one in his litter, but still likes to have fun-a real "people's dog". Jay would love to be your sidekick and accompany you to many future social gatherings. He is ready to mingle and dressed to impress!


Jay is one of eight babies that was born to a stray mama, being taken care of by a homeless man in the Corridor.  He was trying his best to take care of the mama when she had all of these babies.  It became a much bigger job than he could handle after a few short weeks, so he alerted the Corridor Rescue volunteers that he knew in the area.  It was a very kind and compassionate gesture to surrender all of these puppies to offer them a chance at a real life with a family that could keep them safe, happy and healthy. All of the babies were cleaned up and after a couple of weeks they started doing very well.


Jay plays well with other dogs and just loves all people, toys and other pets.  He loves to chase balls, play outside and is generally in love with life! 




Jay is an English Pointer/lab mix and is about 45 pounds and is full grown.


Jay lives in a boarding kennel right now where he has lots of friends –human and canine, but he really wants a forever family of his very own. If you think that Jay might be your new baby then please fill out an application for him today!
