PJ Bichon Frise & Poodle Mix Austin, TX

 


This is PJ.  He is a 2 year old Bichon mix and weighs about 10 pounds.  PJ
was undersocialized when he came to Lil' Paws and was especially leery of
men.  He has been attending behavior training and has made tremendous
progress.  He will now take treats from strangers and let them pet him.  The
dog trainer will provide 6 free lessons to PJ's adopter to ensure his
continued success.  PJ is a smart cookie and is learning that he can trust
people.  He will be very devoted to those that are kind to him.  Currently,
he is very attached to his foster mom.  PJ is crate trained and stays in his
crate when his foster mom is out of the house.  PJ gets along with the other
dogs and cat in his foster home but doesn't really interact with them.  He
would do well as an only dog or with a companion dog.


Adoption fee is $250.

** Please note: Due to their size, our dogs are not suitable for homes with children under 5.


We do not have a facility, all dogs are fostered in the homes of our volunteers. Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and other Petite Paws solely depends on donations to keep the dogs in our program healthy. Many health issues are taken care of before a dog leaves a rescue: spaying, neutering, immunizations, dental care, and in some cases major surgery.
