Meet GISELE! Giselle This little girl has had a hard luck life in her short time on earth. Our rescue found her at the Devore animal shelter with a case of mange and pretty bedraggled. Visitors to the shelter continually passed by the plain, disheveled, sad looking kitty, leaving her to a grim fate through no fault of her own. Very fortunately for sweet Gisele, Kitty Devore Rescue saw something special in her (because all kitties are special!), and she was rescued at the eleventh hour. Gisele spent a little time with a temporary foster to allow her mange to be treated before going to her long term foster... where she immediately came down with a throat infection and stopped eating. Yikes! Sometimes even for kitties when it rains, it pours! But after receiving proper care and lots of love, kindness, and security from her foster mommy, this little fighter regained her appetite and is now healthy and beautiful! She never did regain her meow though, so she is now a very quiet feline cutie.
