How I Arrived At NHS: My siblings and I were surrendered as an unwanted litter.


Note From An NHS Volunteer:   When you first see Duncan, you'll be taken with how cute and adorable he is and when you get to know him and see his personality and mannerisms (see video), you'll be in love with him!  He is a great kitten, very affectionate, loves to cuddle on your lap when he sleeps and as soon as you pick him up, he just falls back because he is so relaxed.  He is very friendly with everyone and just has a great personality, seems to be relaxed with everything and everyone.  He will be such a great cat for someone and you would be lucky to adopt him!

Cats are feline leukemia tested, if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They are placed for adoption if this test is negative. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes. Cat adoption fees range from $5 to $60 + tax; Kitten adoption fees are $100 to $160 + tax.
