Meet Dad
3 year old male Chinchilla
These two chinchillas have spunk! Runty & Jumpy will melt your heart & amaze you with their ADORABLE antics. They are very close to each other & can often be found snuggling side by side. When they’re not resting they are very active, climbing to the top of their enclosure and dropping to the bottom. They are both accustomed to being handled, although Jumpy needs some more socialization to be completely at ease with hands. Runty on the other hand will hop right up to you to say hello and explore what you have to offer. If you’re looking for an intelligent, entertaining set of companions, these are your guys! Chinchillas are fairly easy to care for & if cleaned often have low to no odor. Their droppings are small & solid, easy to pick up after. The more time you spend with them, the more their personalities will develop. Chinchillas are very delicate, and can get stressed easily so they do best with adults, or children old enough to admire their delicacy.
Visiting hours are Monday-Friday 2pm-5:30pm and on Saturday 1pm-5pm.
