Meet Selma: Adopted!
Date of birth: 1/2010
4/4/2018: Selma is a beautiful black kitty with a shiny coat and green eyes. She's calm and very sweet. Selma gets along well with other cats. She is 8 years old and we've had her for a long time. She was pretty shy when she initially came to us, but she's really settled in over time and is doing great. She loves lounging on all the cat beds! Selma would do best in a quiet home and she'll need time to get used to her new home and feel comfortable. She loves cat treats, however, so that's a good way to help her adjust to her new home.
Selma has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia.
MORE ON ADOPTING OUR CATS...
Please visit our web site at HSGKC.ORG for more information about our adoption process, our adoption fees and all that's included, and for a pet adoption application.
> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia. Kittens who are too young to receive all the necessary kitten boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. Take advantage of our ADOPT-A-BUDDY program: Adopt two cats or kittens together at a greatly reduced adoption fee!
> Most of our cats are not confined in cages but instead live in our spacious and sunny cat rooms. It's a great environment for them, it allows us to get to know them well, and it's a nice environment for you to come in to visit -- and find your perfect match!
> An application is required to adopt a pet and applicants must meet our adoption requirements. If you decide you'd like to adopt one of our pets, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the pet home with you that same day unless you've submitted an online applications and arrangements have been made prior to your visit.
Thank you for searching for a shelter pet!
