Pirate Domestic Short Hair Columbus, OH

Hello.  My name is Pirate.  I am a very shy cat looking for a new home.  I am a neutered male who is about one and a half years old.  I am a nice looking brown tiger boy.  I am a large cat.  I was rescued from a life outdoors by a kind man in the German Village area of Columbus.  He took me and my companion, Doodles, into his home for a short period, but found we just couldn’t stay there with him, so he was kind enough to bring us over to Cat Welfare for our second chance. I am extremely shy and I generally show signs of fear when humans approach me. I would be much happier living in a home I think.  A quiet home without a lot of activity would suit me well, and a kind person who was willing to let me come out of my shell at my own speed would be nice, too.  I am friendly and though it may take some time to become friends, I don’t mind being petted and touched.  I am just a little hesitant about people considering how hard it has been to judge who is good and who is not during my life. I know that if I lived in a home and felt a sense of security, I would be a great companion.  Please think about adopting a cat like me.  Thanks, signed, Pirate
