Harley Boston Terrier Bangor, PA

Harley is a 5 year old boy that just wants to be loved and understood. Harley lacked guidance in his previous home and was left to his own devices to figure things out this has left him with fear aggression and stranger danger.  Once Harley knows and trusts his humans it is no issue. However if you entertain constantly and have a busy household he would NOT be the dog for you. Harley mimics his environment he needs a calm and serene home with a parent too love.
 
Harley gets along with cats and dogs but not big on playing. Harley is big on his human he just wants to be with his person. It is important that his new parent or parents follow his training protocol so he can continue to improve. It will take a patient loving soul to help him continue on the path to success.
 
Harley is low energy and content just chilling all day. Children make Harley terribly nervous and he should not be in a home with children or subject to children who don't know how to respect a dog.
 
Otherwise Harley is cute as can be - crate trained - housebroken and in great health!
 
 
Harley is currently being fostered in Bangor, PA and his adoption fee will be $450.00

There is a $10 application fee which helps to defer our costs. This does not in any way guarantee the dog you are requesting and applications are not based on first come, first served. Our goal is to carefully evaluate each applicant's individual situation to find the home that is best match for each dog in our care.
Our adoption fees are as follows:

$600- Puppies 6 months to 2 yrs
$500- 2 yrs to 4 yrs
$450- 5 yrs to 7 yrs
TBD- over 8 years based on health & behavior

(Our adoption fees are non-negotiable and lowering is only considered in the dogs with behavioral or medical issues.)
In addition to spay/neutering and updated vaccines all adopted dogs will come with a two week food supply for transition, current medical records, in depth written assessment of all behavior, observations and routines while in foster care, leash, collar and a supply of any necessary medication.
