Meet Warden
LEVELLLAND ANIMAL SHELTER DOG
Warden is a German shorthaired pointer. He was almost starved to death before he was rescued by the animal wardens. He has been kept at the shelter for over two months as an evidence dog in a cruelty case. During that time he has gained about 20 lbs. The wardens have spent time with him socializing him and teaching him basic commands. He is very friendly with people. He would have to be tested with other dogs to see how he gets along with them. We don’t know about cats. He is probably less than two years old and weighs about 50 pounds now. He looks very good now and is very healthy. He is ready for adoption now or will be in the next few days. If you think Warden might be a good fit for you, call the number below.
NOTE: Shelter dogs who will be living in Hockley County must be spayed or neutered. This requirement may be waived for dogs who will be living outside the county, but is always strongly recommended. You must be at least 18 to adopt a shelter dog. To speak with an animal warden about adopting or for more information, call (806) 894-6164.
