Cassie Pointer Mix Hempstead, TX

CASSIE’s STORY – she is sweet LOVING (about) 2 years old, 40 lb pointer mix that had puppies about 5 weeks ago. A good Samaritan saw her wandering her neighborhood. The good Samaritan had seen her before at a neighboring home. So she took Cassie to “the home” and the people at the home denied she was theirs. They would not take her. So our good Samaritan started looking for help to foster or a rescu...e to take her, but Cassie kept looking for her puppies. She kept getting out trying to find her puppies so our good Samaritan was desperate to get her to a safe place in case “the home owner” decided to dump her somewhere far away. Cassie needs a permanent ADOPTER now. She is in the Houston area. Transport considered for the right home. Cassie loves people and is good with other dogs of any size. She likes being with her humans. She is leash trained, likes to fetch and knows sit. No aggression with crate, food or toys. She gets along with other dogs. NO CATS! She may have been abused she does flinch if anything passes over her head, but is not afraid of men. If you can not help please share with friends -you never know who can help!
