Our beautiful Matisse is a striking, sprightly, fun-loving sweetie looking for a human to love and play with. Matisse has a very positive and eager-to-please energy and it’s hard to not fall in love with her infectious smile and constantly wagging stubby feathery tail. Matisse is easygoing on the leash and loves a good snuggle. Matisse gets along well with anyone she meets, both human and canine. She has a beautiful, unique coat and big, beautiful brown eyes. She is truly one of a kind, in both her looks and her personality. Matisse is about 4 and a half years old, which means she is past all the puppy stuff but still has many years of love to share. Matisse weighs in at about 50 pounds. She already knows the commands “sit” and “down”, and we are working on “stay” with her. Since Matisse loves food and is very treat motivated, she will be a breeze to train. She has been on a hike with our valet barkers and she was a perfect hiking buddy. Matisse greeted all passersby with her signature smile and wiggling bum. We can also tell she was in her element being active and enjoying the fresh air and outdoor scenery, which is exactly what our lively girl needs and deserves. Matisse spent an evening in a foster home before her spay surgery, and she was a dream guest! She was keen to mind her manners, use the outdoor facilities, and respectful of all the resident dogs. She loves attention and will never tire of getting love and affection from her people. What’s more, is that she already comes house trained and crate trained! Matisse's adopter is going to add one incredible member to their family. Although she is absolutely wonderful with any children, adults, seniors, and canines of all shapes and sizes we introduce her to, she would do best in a home with no felines.
