Meet Conundrum (Connie)

CONUNDRUM (Connie) - German Shepherd, female, 8 years. Connie came to Peppertree from a NYC shelter and we were expecting a sedate senior, but Connie's perky personality was a pleasant surprise! This girl is ready for an active retirement, and could easily be a walking companion or a weekend hiker. True to the German Shepherd breed Connie wants to be with her people, whether on-leash or off. She bonds quickly with her person and is wonderful with other dogs while she is out and about, but does like to make sure she is the top dog in her owners' life. Any canine companions in the home would need to be laid back and willing to let Connie take a starring role. Like many German Shepherds Connie does best with a schedule, and does not love change, but, with love and support she is learning to cope.
