Kandi Yorkshire Terrier & Chihuahua Mix Murphy, TX

Kandi is a two year old, non shedding, people loving, energetic dog. Kandi has an amazing story to be told. Kandi and her sister Mandi, were strays from Cozumel Mexico. They were dumped on a rural highway with no houses in sight. They were picked up and placed at the Cozumel Humane Society.


An area vet met the two dogs at Christmas 2012, after coming back to the states, the vet decided to adopt Mandi. The Humane Society, explained that Kandi had heart worms, which limited her chances of finding a home. The vet agreed to take both dogs, a retired airline pilot brought the dogs to DFW. They cleared customes on January 4th. 


Kandi had few health issues, She has now been treated for heart worms, had a good deworming, great nutritious food, and she feels much better.


Now that Kandi feels much better, she has become very jealous of her sister Mandi and wants nothing to do with her. She loves people and does not want to share her people with another dog. Kandi needs to find a new home and be the only dog. 


Kandi is ready to find a for-ever home. She is a very loving dog and playful dog. Kandi really would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She loves to be in your lap and have her belly rubbed. 


Her adoption fee is $85.00. This will include her spay, vet package, and micro-chip.
