Wonka has had an incredible journey since she has come to Earthdog, after being struck by a car in a remote Northern community Wonka had to be rushed to Winnipeg to undergo major surgeries to repair a shattered pelvis and broken leg. Wonka went through extensive rehab which included swimming at the Pawsh Dog to regain muscle strength and movement in her leg. It's been a hard road for Wonka but she stepped up to the challenge and exceeded everyones expectations. Wonka today is just like any other dog who likes to go to the dog park, play and take naps. Wonka is great with other dogs, cats and kids and would love to have a family of her own to share the rest of her amazing life with.
