Gossip Yorkshire Terrier & Poodle Mix Madison, WI

Gossip was born around 3/2010 and has been with our rescue since 3/2013.  This 12# pooch was transferred from another rescue that found her as a stray.  Gossip can be a bit shy with strangers and is nervous around young children.  Gossip is a quiet girl that would do well in a home without young children as she doesn't understand the awkward handling that accompanies toddlers.  She has a medium energy and likes to go for daily walks and work on other confidence building exercises.  She's still settling into the shelter and thus far has a more independent nature in that she likes to entertain herself with bones covered in peanut butter, catching up on her beauty rest, or quietly watching the happenings from her kennel.  Gossip would do best as an only pet.  While she's very receptive to being taught how to appropriately interact with cats and other dogs, for now she's reactive and not very fond of their companionship.  Gossip is crate trained once on a schedule but we do not know if she is housebroke.  Her adoption fee is $370.
Adoption Information:


Adoption clinics are held every Saturday from 10am – 2pm at PetsMart, 2216 E. Springs Drive. Most of our available dogs can be visited at that time. Our dogs have all been spay/neuter, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. We take care of any veterinary care prior to adoption. We offer a $25 rebate to adopters who complete a training class and send in proof of completion within 4 months of adoption.


Adoption Fees:
For dogs and puppies range from $238 to $500 depending on the animal.
