"Born 11/9/12 in a puppy mill, Bonnie was released by the breeder to rescue. She was adopted out as a puppy and then was recently dumped in a pound (instead of being returned to us).....luckily this shelter called to get Bonnie back to us.



Bonnie was not treated well by her former adoptive home, she has been neglected. Right now she is shy at first, but responds well to praise and attention. She seems to bond quickly when she senses that she is safe and loved.



Bonnie is about 30 lbs. and is house trained. She is good with dogs, cats and kids. She loves to play with other dogs and would do best in a home with a playmate. She has a quiet, happy personality and would love to be a part of a family that she can trust."

All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, heartworm tested, and they are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home visit, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for this dog is $275___. We are willing to adopt out-of-state, contingent on our ability to complete a home visit, but you must travel to Omaha to complete the adoption. We do not transport or ship our dogs.
