Meet Wiley-So Stoic

Wiley came to us from a high-kill Georgia shelter about 2 months ago. We saw his picture and his intelligence was readily visible in the photo. Shelter dogs are surrendered or abandoned for any number of reasons, and so we expected that a dog this superb would have an issue or two , to work out. What a surprise to find, Wiley had no issues, no bugs to work out, nada. He was and is simply perfect. Wiley has been the same dog from day 1 since he arrived and that is probably why it has taken us so long to offer him up for adoption. Wiley is smart, brilliant, diplomatic but firm, loved by all dogs. Wiley is a steady eddie in temperament. When introduced to adult male dogs, Wiley always meets with a tail wag and a bow. He just wants to get along and play. He's quite smart like that. Also, all you have to do is take one look a this guy to know he is a ladies man. The gals adore him! As a matter of fact its becoming routine each morning to greet Wiley only to see him strutting around with one of the girls collars in his mouth as if to say, "Yep, she's in love with me too!" We hope you enjoy Wiley's pics as much as we love this guy! Someone is going to adopt one heck of a dog when Wiley's family comes for him! He is number #1 with us!

Please visit our FaceBook site at https://www.facebook.com/AADawgs for even more albums and information of our adoptable dogs. Give us a like and enjoy the updates of our friends and adopters. The happiness and satisfaction of our adopters is of utmost importance as they become part of the A. A. D. family. Our adoption fee is a $180 non-refundable donation which includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, 6-way vaccination, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, worming and flea preventative. We do not adopt out any dog as housebroken. Housebreaking your new pet is an important part of the bonding process and is a necessary commitment for a successful transition. Those first few weeks in your home are when your new dog learns to trust and respect you, as his person. When adopting make sure you have thought out a potty training routine ahead of time, before bringing a new dog into your home. We do reserve the right to inspect the home to ensure there will not be any conflicts or issues that could result in an unsuccessful introduction to the family. In addition you may rest assured that every dog offered to the public for adoption by All American Dawgs has been handled and under direct guidance of our personnel for no less than 30 days. This time period is necessary to assess each pet, individually, for health issues and individual behavior before they go to new homes. Each and every dog, during this period, will get regular exercise via pack walks through the countryside and regular direction in basic manners while learning extremely necessary socialization skills. Our goal is to bridge committed adopters to good minded companions and this is accomplished by helping rescue dogs learn the basic skills necessary for that next step, your family. If you see a dog that you would like to get to know a little better please email us at: AllAmericanDawgs@gmail.com or call at 812-267-2814 to receive an adoption application to complete. Once the application has been processed by All American Dawgs (usually within 24-48 hours) we will call you to set up a meet and greet day that is most convenient to your family. Anyone that wishes to meet a particular dog must complete the application process first. We do not have an open to the public facility so the best way to reach us is via email , AllAmericanDawgs@gmail. com.
