Shadow Poodle Louisa, VA

My name's Shadow, and I'm a very cute purebred Miniature Poodle.  I'm close to 12 years old, but don't let my age fool you!  I'm an energetic dog, with a lot of life left in me.  My favourite activity is cuddling, but I also enjoy wrestling and playing, and running around in the yard.  I also enjoy going for car rides with my family.  I get along well with cats and other dogs, but I do expect them to respect my personal space, and don't like being jumped on.

 

I'm a real Loverboy, and I love just about everyone that I meet.  I enjoy going for walks, and walk very well on a leash, but I don't mind being picked up and carried around, and I'll gladly make myself comfortable on any available lap.  I'm very calm and well-behaved around new people and in new situations, but sometimes I do get nervous when people make sudden moves around me, so I would probably do best in a home without small children. 

 

My previous owner said that I was housebroken, but I have had a few accidents in my foster home, so I am looking for a home that can be patient with reteaching me proper potty behaviour.

 

I have been neutered, and am up-to-date on all my vaccines, and the vet says that I'm very healthy for a pup my age.  If you think your family has room for a couple of older gentlemen, please contact Animal Connections about meeting us, or come out to one of Animal Connections adoption events

 


Adoption fee is $175 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test and spay/neuter.
