Meet Macaroni


Macaroni (Mac for short) was regretfully given up by his owner because his job is forcing him to be away from home more and more meaning Mac has had to take road trips to stay with friends and family a lot. It was time for Mac to have a new home where he can stay put. Mac is about 1 year. old and neutered. He is a beautiful smoky gray medium size rabbit that is litter box trained and spent many hours loose when his owner was home. Like many rabbits he does not like to be picked up but otherwise loves to be loved by adults and children. He looks forward to his visits with our Thursday morning senior volunteer, John, who brushes him until his coat shines and tells him how special he is.


Rabbits are active, gentle pets that are happiest and healthiest when they have a large clean cage, lots of play time out of their cage, and plenty of fresh hay and veggies daily. All of the Medfield Shelter's bunnies are indoor pets and would not do well outside in a hutch. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit from our shelter, please fill out our adoption application
