Carlos's apartment dwelling owner has decided he needs a bigger home and yard to be happy and we couldn't agree more.  Carlos is a big boy at about 90lbs and is still growing.  We will only be happy with a home that has a big fenced yard so he can stretch those long long legs.


Carlos has also not spent much time out of the apartment so the world and all the things in it are new to him but boy does he learn fast and seem to love it.  He is a very intelligent dog and would make an excellent obedience competition prospect and of course his sheer presence will deter the bad guys from sneaking about.  


Carlos needs to be in a catless home but did well with the female test dogs we introduced him to.  As a matter of fact, he fancies himself quite the ladies man but his impending neuter should put an end to that.  Male dogs are a different story at the moment and we are hoping neuter and social training will change that.  


Carlos has not traveled much but liked going for his car ride to the rescue center.  He is house broken and while has not had much experience on a leash, proved a very quick study during his evaluation, responding to directives with amazing understanding.  He is a blank canvas needing an artist to bring out his maximum potential.  Because of his size and breed he may not make a great beginners dog and he has never been around children so vigilance would need to be exercised if adding him into a home with small children.


Carlos is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and has been wormed.  He is available for immediate adoption.  He will make a stellar companion dog for somebody looking for a nice dog with a impressive presence that just needs a little fine tuning.
