Ricardo Pharaoh Hound Mix Rocky Mount, VA

Ricardo is around three years old,56 lbs and is looking for a quite home of his own. He has done well with most dogs he has met. He would do best with a laid back female dog. We have had him in our care since 2/26/13. Ricardo is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

We believe Ricardo is a Pharaoh hound mix who is around 3 years old. He takes a little while to warm up initially but once he knows he can trust someone, he is loyal and loving to his people, frequently sneaking up to give your hand a quick kiss or lie next to you on the couch. He also loves to be outside in the warm sun and enjoys tennis balls and chew toys. Ricardo would enjoy a laid-back home and does fine with older or considerate children. He also enjoys playing with female dogs and is okay with cats. Ricardo is treat motivated (loves cheese!) and walks well on a leash and will stick close to you instead of pulling.

All of our animals have a lifetime commitment. If for any reason, the adoption does not work out, the cats and dogs are to come back to FCHS, which is a NO kill facility. The adoption fees help cover a portion of the care provided to the animals. All dogs and pups are microchipped and all animals adopted out are spayed/neutered and fully vetted.
