INTRODUCING......Athena has a big personality in a tiny frame, appr 4 years old, and thought to be a minpin or doxie or JRT mix.  She is quite tiny, and fine featured, about 12 lbs.  Athena absolutely loves every single person she meets, people can't help but be drawn in by her bubbly affectionate personality,  loves Children but is best with older Children. Anybody can walk through the door and she greets them with kisses and a wagging tail.   She is a comedian and makes her foster Mom laugh often, doing her entertaining stunts, Like jumping up and sitting half way up the cat tower. Athena is good meeting other dogs, wanting to play with some, but is quite happy to be anti-social with those that are over zealous and snub them. What a little DIVA !! She has that Spicy Miniature Pincher personality .  Athena seems to ignore cats, but at times will also play with them. Athena knows her basic commands and she does well on the leash. Athena is very athletic and loves walking and exploring at the park. If you want a to have a big dog walk with without going big ,  she fits the bill ! Athena loves the activity. Athena also is a well behaved dog in the house and will lay quietly and nap with her favorite toy when nothing going on and likes to lay near you. She would be a pleasure in any home with a family with older children. Take a look at her interesting markings. The brindle on her head looks like marble rye !! Athena needs a home where her family has someone home at least part time or off and on during the day.  A fenced yard is important as she is very fast and needs safe place to run along with leash walks.  Another small dog or dog friendly cat would be a bonus for her.(D.O.B 3/2/2009)
