Scout Brittany Spaniel Libertyville, IL

Scout is a young Brittany Spaniel mix (we suspect about 8 – 10 months) and weighs about 20 lbs. Scout has an amazing and sweet temperament. He LOVES to cuddle; in fact, if you are looking for a lap dog, he would definitely fit that bill! He is dog friendly and plays nice with all of the friends he’s meeting here at Central Bark, the doggie day care where he is being fostered.  Scout was a stray in MO and was taken to a high kill shelter. His owner did call the shelter but never did anything further. If he was not transported soon, he would have been euthanized. Scout is a fabulous dog and we (owner's of Central Bark) are blessed that we can be his temporary home until he finds a loving family that he so deserves. Scout is healthy, neutered and up to date on his shots. His adoption fee is $300.


ADOPTION FEE: The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
