Doodles French Bulldog & Shih Tzu Mix Saint Louis, MO

 Meet Doodles on Saturday, March 9 from 11 to 3 at the Kirkwood Petco (I-44/Lindbergh).

Meet Doodles, a French Bulldog/Shih Tzu mix approximately 8 years old.  The adoption fee for this fun and silly-looking girl is $150.




Doodles enjoys following her foster mom around and her tail is always wagging. She's happy to stay on the couch for hours.  However, she has an active side too and enjoys being outside. Doodles is housebroken and is fine uncrated while her foster mom is out. 

 

Doodles is not a fan of large dogs.  She has been fine with the resident small dog in her foster home, but might want to be alpha, or to protect her territory.  However, she has taken correction well and her foster mom thinks that Doodles and any dog companions would work out their issues naturally.  Doodles would also be fine as an only dog who does not have to share her humans.  

 

Doodles used to live with a 2-yr old child, so we believe she is good with kids.  Doodles is an eager walker, and might benefit from a head collar or some other kind of leash set-up to eliminate pulling.  She is a small dog – about 18 lbs - so the pulling is manageable.  But her leash manners could still improve, since walking would be a nice form of activity and exercise for her and her future adopter.
