Meet Puma
Puma is a bouncy, sweet, submissive, cuddly and playful, one-year-old, 50-pound, dark chocolate and vanilla pit bull terrier/labrador retriever-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Â
Puma was found as a stray and landed at Chicago Animal Care and Control. He was taken in by Famous Fido Rescue and is now living the good life in a foster home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Â
Â
According to his foster mom, Puma is a good-hearted dog who just needs a little direction in life to be the perfect pet.
Â
Puma is housebroken, but not crate-trained as he hates to be confined. He knows the command sit, and takes treats gently. He is food-motivated, but not food-aggressive, and learning to heal nicely on leash. He’s great in the car.
Â
Puma loves to play with balls and toys, or chew on his bones. He has a fun playful side, but he also enjoys a calm nap or snuggle session. He also loves other dogs and would do fine in a home with another dog, or as the only dog. He attends doggie daycare regularly and is submissive with other dogs, but he barks at cats.
   Â
Puma is extremely healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. To meet and possibly adopt Puma, please contact Chris at christine6206@aol.com or 630-699-1480. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Famous Fido Rescue and Adoption Alliance.Â
