Taffy is a sweet, adorable miniature poodle who was saved from a life of a breeder. She is under 3 years old, approx. 10 lbs., spayed and utd on shots and has just arrived in New England.  We need a special home for her with someone who will teach her what the whole world looks like...she has led a very sheltered life, so appears to be shy but in moments warms right up.  She simply will stay very close to you. She has already learned so much when visiting other homes and dogs, gone car traveling, as well as lots of guests visiting at her foster home.  So far she is doing fantastic in just two short weeks!  With love and patience she is sure to be the most perfect dog if you continue to take her out places, socialize her to noises, places like pet stores...take her everywhere....She does get along fine with dogs and has experience with grandchildren who were over age 8.....

THE LOCATION GIVEN IN THE DOG'S NAME IS WHERE HE or SHE IS LOCATED. Unless otherwise stated, WE DO NOT ADOPT, SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR DOGS AWAY FROM THE AREA THEY ARE IN. WE DO NOT ADOPT TO URBAN/APARTMENT ENVIRONMENTS. WE REQUIRE FENCED YARDS (an e-fence is not a secure fence). PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MATCH WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR. Breed stated is just a shelter/rescue/foster guess based on size, appearance and temperament. It is impossible for us to know for sure as most of our dogs are strays from high kill shelters.
